Maha Sudarshana Mantra Meaning
The meaning of the Sudarshana Maha Mantra is as given below:
“O Lord Krishna, you are the protector and controller of the universe. You are also supreme being and the beloved of the gopikas. O Paramathma, protect me from all sorts of evils. You are the Lord who has the entire world in his hands. You are also the one who holds the Sudarshana chakra and destroys the evil in all eight directions. I now completely surrender myself to you.”
Chanting The Maha Sudarshana Mantra
The chanting of the Maha Sudarshana Mantra can be initiated during the nakshatra (star) birth days. One can also chant it during Ekadashi as it is very auspicious. Reciting the mantra everyday can prove to be extremely beneficial. One can also chant this mantra every Wednesday and Saturday, as these days are favourable.
